Quench your thirst for history in our unique cafes.

Relax and refuel onboard PSS Wingfield Castle. Built in 1934 she started out as the Humber ferry and has been a famous film set and a public house. The restored paddle steam ship returned home to Hartlepool to provide the best views over the quayside and busy harbour. Have a look around the bridge and boiler room after a quick snack stop or a coffee break.

We also have our Georgian styled coffee shop nestled within the historic quayside with views of the ship where you can grab a light bite and a cold drink or coffee. (Please note that the Quayside coffee shop is only open during peak periods)

If you would rather bring a picnic we have an outdoor picnic area overlooking the Quayside.
